Blank Rome LLP welcomes Jeffrey “Jeff” A. Fickes and Christopher “Chris” J. DePizzo as new partners in their New York office. Both attorneys bring extensive experience in private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate matters. Jeff and Chris join Blank Rome from Ballard Spahr, where Jeff co-led the private equity group.

This announcement comes during a period of strategic growth for Blank Rome, following the recent opening of their Boston office with a 25-attorney team and the addition of three more corporate and transactional attorneys. Grant S. Palmer, Blank Rome’s Chair and Managing Partner, expressed excitement about the new additions to the firm’s Corporate, M&A, and Securities group.

Jeff’s background includes corporate financial management positions in both public and private companies, while Chris has a wealth of experience advising private equity firms and other companies on complex transactions. Louis M. Rappaport, partner and co-chair of the Corporate, M&A, and Securities group, praised Jeff and Chris for their track records in deal-making.

Jeff holds a J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and an MBA from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. Chris earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a Certificate in Business and Public Policy from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business.
